The extremely high levels of unemployment, particularly amongst the youth and school-leavers, remains an ongoing national challenge. As an endeavour to address this challenge the president of South Africa announced several job creation plans in the State of the Nation Address of 2018.

Daveng is empathetic to the plight of the poor and the voiceless and therefore we align ourselves with government’s undertaking to decrease the continuously increasing unemployment statistics. In understanding that executing civil engineering construction operations by hand is a primary contributor to job creation in the civil engineering industry, Daveng has developed and passionately apply innovative monitoring strategies to ensure that civil engineering contractors optimise LIC methods on projects under our contract supervision.

Our senior staff component is well equipped and qualified to use the scope of works of proposed civil engineering projects to calculate and propose minimum employment opportunities achievable.
